I love to share my love of quilting and sewing with others. My mission is to make sewing and quilting FUN, while teaching basic skills and short-cuts that enable the student to create a quality project. I am available to teach locally in the Greater Cincinnati/Tri-State area for a series of classes. Or I will travel to your local guild or shop to present a one-day workshop. Beginning Piecing - One Day Workshop or 2 3-hour classes
- Discuss fabric/color selections, rotary cutting, accurate ¼” seam, pressing

Borders – 3 hour class
- When to use a border and how to determine border width
- Proper straight horizontal border application
- Mitred borders
Bindings – 3 hour class
- Calculating fabric requirements
- Cutting and piecing binding
- Binding application using machine stitching on front, mitred corner technique and hand stitching on back

- Lecture consists of demos using my quilts and quilts of others
- Workshop – one hour lecture, then 2 hours sit & sew

Series of beginning classes designed for the beginning sewer or intermediate sewer who wants to refresh basic skills.

- Basic cutting and construction techniques

- Build on Level 1 techniques
