My husband wanted a golf themed quilt. I embroidered some golf themes on a lovely gold print and pieced them with red and blue four patches in a plaid pattern. Around the edge, I embroidered the names of golf courses that he has played. Simple cross-hatching and meandering complete the quilting on this. Sleepy Hollow is the first course that he played as a boy and has a special place in his heart. The quilt hangs in our basement family room, next to the pool table.
